Sociable NonScience are Bernardine Carroll, Sinead Conlon and Jan Uprichard, three artists based in various spots around Ireland and the U.K. We formed as a collective in 2010 to work on projects examining the economic structures we live within.
Currently we create work to be experienced through the lens of our friendship and friendship in general, drawing a line of resistance against the dehumanising affects of globalisation.
We choose friendship over Capitalism.
Our most current, on-going project is Love/Hate, a series of love or hate (mostly love) letters to exhibitions, artists, events etc. that we have been to. This is an act friendship in which we let the people involved in a project know how we felt about it.
